This Festival of Conscience will have Eve Silber performing songs at a closing reception in honor of the memory of Father Paul Mayer, climate activist.
Eve Silber is a NYC based singer, guitarist and songwriter. A long time resident of the West Village Eve received much of her training there, under the tutelage of guitar great Dave Van Ronk, as well as in the accompaniment of Marie Blake, and Mable Godwin, the great dames of Grove Street. She performs regularly in some of New York City’s oldest jazz venues, maintaining the traditions of traditional jazz on Grove Street as well as political song-writing in the West Village.
